A privileged enclave

The population center, located at the foot of the district, is surrounded by the Arroyo de la Sahúca and its well-known poplar and is located next to the left bank of the Lozoya River, whose waters plow the valley providing a beautiful riverside vegetation and a great biodiversity. Two ideal fluvial environments for leisure and recreation.

 

Being surrounded by mountains, from Alameda you can see some of the most spectacular landscapes of the region, highlighting the imposing mountain profiles, the snowy peaks, the course of the Lozoya River and the majestic panoramic views of the peaks of Peñalara, incidentally , the highest point of the Community of Madrid.
