BTT The Natural Way

The Natural Way as well as on foot is a highly recommended route for cycling, the visitor can choose between the various possibilities offered. Specifically, from Alameda del Valle, there are several possibilities, all full of attractions and surprises.
Alameda del Valle-Lozoya-Rascafría
The Natural Way, in the section from Lozoya to Rascafría, is one of the most frequented routes by those who look for flat routes without difficulty. The attraction of this option is that from Alameda del Valle you can make very affordable excursions: either towards Lozoya through Pinilla with the attractiveness of Pinilla Reservoir, either towards Rascafría, passing through Oteruelo, with a beautiful end at the Paular Monastery.
Branch to the Hermitage of Santa Ana
One option offered by the Natural Path is the branch to the Hermitage of Santa Ana, a short tour that brings us to a beautiful landscape from where we can contemplate our town and the Peñalara peak from a privileged perspective. It is possible to make a round trip or make the full branch that suits us again to Alameda del Valle, crossing the Santa Ana Stream and making a section of the Natural Road between Oteruelo and our town.
Alameda del Valle-El Cuadrón
On the other hand, the stretch from Lozoya to Garganta de los Montes and its hamlet El Cuadrón, along the Camino Natural, presents a little more difficulty due to the unevenness it presents (some 400 meters), although it is a highly recommended option for those that they look for routes more blunt, with the attraction of the medieval bridges, the beautiful views that this itinerary offers and its passage through the Pinilla reservoir, among other charms.
