The relief of Alameda del Valle corresponds to that of the Alto Valle del Lozoya being the predominantoteme ground in its central area (which is furrowed by the Lozoya River), to make way for imposing mountains at its ends. As it could not be otherwise, the action of water has been modulating the territory resulting in landscapes and ecosystems of great environmental value that have led to the declaration of various environmental protection figures.
The municipality is oriented northwest-southeast and is distributed between 2,150 and 1,102 m altitude, a reflection of the mountainous character of this town. With an extension of 25.01 Km², it occupies a narrow strip perpendicular to the Lozoya River (about 2 km wide by 12 km long) that extends between the two valley closing cords. Its population is around 250 inhabitants.
