Mountain geography
The relief of Alameda del Valle corresponds to that of the Alto Valle del Lozoya being the predominantoteme ground in its central area (which is furrowed by the Lozoya River), to make way for imposing mountains at its ends. As it could not be otherwise, the action of water has been modulating the territory resulting in landscapes and ecosystems of great environmental value that have led to the declaration of various environmental protection figures.
