This beautiful walk starts next to the bridge that crosses the Arroyo de la Saúca in the northern area of the municipality, like the Ruta al Palancosillo. Having both in common the first stretch. We will continue up the road, at about 250 meters, the road forks in two, we must continue on the right through a meadow of ash trees. Always guiding us through the blue beacons we will go up the Arroyo de la Saúca leaving it on our left hand until we reach the highest point of the route where we will cross it. At this point we can find an informative panel of the ecosystems that the streams harbor. This is a good place to take a break in summer with the tinkle of the water of the stream and the cool shade of the riverside trees.
After crossing the stream the road begins to descend towards Alameda del Valle under the cover of old oaks, accompanied by heather, hawthorn and blackberry and in the areas closest to the stream, we find a vegetation more adapted to water, willows, alders and birches . In several points of this descent you can contemplate good views of the Lozoya Valley. Following the blue beacons, we will continue descending until we find the pasture of ash trees that we climbed uphill and reach the point from which we started.
