Saint Ana
Although it is not the patron saint of Alameda del Valle, Santa Ana, it is the most celebrated religious celebration in our town. It is celebrated on July 26, in the case of an act in which the neighbors take in pilgrimage a carving of Santa Ana dating from the thirteenth century, accompanied by dulzaina and tamboril, in a journey that runs from the Church to the Hermitage that carries its name and that is placed in a beautiful place to 3 kilometers town. There a mass is celebrated and the traditional auction, after which the Town Hall organizes a Popular paella in the adjoining meadow.
Additionally, and for several days, diverse activities are organized for all the public and the traditional nocturnal verbena takes place. And it is that Santa Ana is of great devotion among the people of this town, so it is an event of importance to the town and to which a large number of residents, tourists and visitors come.
