Traditional Life Interpretation Center
The Interpretation Center of the Traditional Life of the Alto del Lozoya Valley, is an installation specially dedicated to local traditions that allows us to contemplate what life was like in the area, generations ago. Its small but innovative space, structured on three floors, houses part of the Municipal Collection of decorative arts and traditional crafts. It also has interesting explanatory panels and old photographs, which help the visitor to interpret the life of yesteryear in an incomparable setting.
It is located in an old electrical transformation tower located in the Ancient Eras, a beautiful place next to the Lozoya River from where to contemplate the Peñalara peak, the surrounding mountainous environment and observe the cattle that graze in the surroundings. A few meters away we find a rich riverside ecosystem presided by a beautiful grove.

The uniqueness of this center makes it an ideal place for bird watching, courses and workshops or as a meeting point for tourists and visitors. At the moment there is no opening time, so any proposal for the use of this space should be directed to the City of Alameda del Valle.
